When it comes to digital tone flickering, Joe Panzner's got the goods & there is no shortage of people who know it.Take this email from someone who got a sneak preview of the disc: "Reminds me of Karkowski. Only better." I don't know if I'd go that far, but I'm certainly not above reprinting it.
