| Appropriately titled disc of wintery synth rumblings from Columbus' own David Reed, the beast who also mans the helm of the projects Brittle Foundries and Luasa Raelon. Like Devillock's 'Cold Room,' this opus is so frosty it should come packed in a foot of snow. Where Devillock's brings to mind fantastic arctic imagery though, Envenomist is more rooted in the real. This isn't a crashed plane in the tundra where you play the action star survivalist. This is the night you fell down drunk in the snow & woke up in a hospital half alive. You play the idiot. Reminds me personally of walking out on a froze-over Lake Erie & watching distant coal ships in the lifeless water. CDR edition of 100 in color cover with hand-painted insert. AVAILABLE
