Brendan Murray's drones have been oozing and crackling out of my speakers for years. The first show I played with him in 2003 still stands as one of the most beautiful sets I've seen. So obviously I'm glad to finally have him do a GMBY disc.

"Ocean of Dirt..." is a single 40 minute track that sounds exactly like it's title would suggest. Weaving from pockets of hiss through dense bass landscapes; it implodes, reverses and completely rethinks itself. A meditation on the alternative evolution of our world and ourselves, a heavy and amazing work.
